UMMSafe: This is the medical center’s patient safety event reporting system. Report and identify issues that have led to, or could lead to, patient harm. The reports are used to identify the opportunities for improvement in order to make our clinical environments safer and improve the quality of care. UMMSafe also includes a tab for sharing professionalism compliments to recognize a person for professional conduct. You can find the UMMSafe link on the UMMC Insider main page: http://intra.umms.org/ummc or in the “links tab” in EPIC.
