I grew up in Kirkland, Washington before moving to New Orleans to attend Tulane University, where I studied neuroscience and public health. I then moved to Tampa Florida to attend med school at the University of South Florida.

I was drawn to neurology by the complexity of cases, I found I enjoy working through the puzzle of a difficult case. I was further drawn to neurology by the ability to form long-term patient relationships, and the excitement of new discoveries and treatment options. 

In my free time, you can find me exploring new restaurants, hiking, horseback riding, and spending time with my husky.
