I always enjoyed learning about neurology in medical school and when I started to see neurology patients on my clerkships, I knew it was the field for me. One of the things I loved the most was working closely with patients in clinic about their chronic conditions, and how rapidly growing the field is.  I have always been fascinated by the brain, so starting my career in neurology is something that really excites me. One of the things that drew me to UMMC was working in a safety net hospital and being able to deliver healthcare to people of varying socioeconomic backgrounds. I grew up mainly in Manalapan, New Jersey, and completed my medical school in NJ, as well.  I attended Case Western for undergrad in Cleveland, OH, and enjoyed living and exploring a new place at that time. I am looking forward to starting the next chapter of my training here in Baltimore, exploring the food scene (especially the ice cream) and the state parks. In my free time, I love to play tennis, bake, tend to my plant children, and play video games.
