I have always enjoyed science for the thrill of thinking through complex puzzles, and this feeling ultimately drove me to neurology. Neurology is unique in its range: it affects people young and old, with both acute and chronic disorders, and with different illness severities. I am very excited to learn how to help a variety of people and am most looking forward to caring for those with complex disorders in the neuro ICU. 

I am very excited to train at the University of Maryland, which is just a short drive away from my brother. The faculty and residents here have been incredibly welcoming, and I look forward to working closely with them, whether treating our patients or researching how to improve our care. 

As a triplet from Houston, Texas, I am a die-hard Astros fan, and even if you see me at Camden Yards, I’ll always support my team. I have enjoyed hiking Patapsco park and running along the harbor at Fort McHenry, and look forward to exploring more of Baltimore the next several years.
