I was born and raised in Florida before moving to Georgia in my teenage years. I completed my undergraduate studies at Georgia Tech (go Jackets!) and earned my medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. My fascination with neuroscience stems from its role in defining what makes us human, as the brain is central to our thoughts, emotions, and identity. Neurology is special to me because it allows patients to reconnect with their authentic selves—reclaiming their identities, personhood, and dignity.

While I am drawn to general neurology for its wide-ranging pathology, I have particular interests in headache and cognitive neurology. In addition to patient care, I am passionate about fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare, ensuring fair and equal opportunities for both patients and professionals. Outside of medicine, I spend my time exploring coffee shops and scenic nature spots to hike. I also enjoy reading, writing, and photography.

I was drawn to the University of Maryland Medical Center for its welcoming culture during interview season, as well as Baltimore’s vibrant activities and rich culture. I can truly see myself caring for patients here while embracing all that the city has to offer.
