I became fascinated by how the brain worked in my high school psychology class, leading me to major in psychology and work in labs at NIMH over the summers. I slowly moved toward neuroscience and started a PhD at NYU in neuroscience before realizing I was much more interested in clinical work. Medical school confirmed that I loved working with patients with neurologic disorders.
As a student at University of Maryland, I knew before residency that I would get a great clinical education at UMMC from the many fantastic neurology attendings spanning multiple disciplines.
In my free time, I like exploring Baltimore with my boyfriend, family and friends. Hiking outside the city, movies at the Charles, new restaurants, the many festivals (Artscape, Kinetic sculpture race), and Sunday farmers market are favorites.
