I developed an interest in neurology from my first day on my third year clerkship. I rotated in a community hospital in the city of Detroit with an amazing stroke neurologist. I found the neurology patients fascinating. Most important to me, was that I found a field that I was constantly eager to learn more about everyday. And it really helped that all the neurologists I've met were very cool and easy to talk to. I immediately felt at home in the neurology department, whether at my home institution or on away rotations.

My wife and I relocated to Baltimore from Detroit. You see, we couple matched in the great match of 2016. I hadn't spent much time in Baltimore so I knew I had a lot of work to do in order to determine where to live. We found several amazing neighborhoods, each with more charm and character than the last. We quickly found that Baltimore had so much to do. Some of our favorite things to do are to go walking around the harbor from Canton to Federal Hill, trying new restaurants around town, hiking, and of course studying neurology.

We have the two most loving, adorable dogs on earth. Godric and Arya are English pointers, a very energetic bird hunting breed. So we chose to live in a neighborhood with detached homes and larger yards. We are conveniently located about 10-15 minutes from just about anything in the city.
